| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottled, 330ml. Lightly spicy, very grainy, wheaty nose, mild prickly fruits and charcoal. This is supposed to have some kind of smoke in it, and I can maybe see a little bit of peat in the flavor but that’s only if I dig for it. Nice thick body while still retaining an easy drinking palate, spicy and husky and very dry. MiP (9159), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottle, 6.5%. Sweet, dusty, malty aroma. Hazy red brown colour. Stable tan head. The flavour starts off with a bit of yeast and paper, not bad though. Good sweet maltiness. Mild bitterness, getting a bit rough in the finish. Borresteijn (1443), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Aroma of soft doughy pale malts with some floral grassy hop notes. Starts with decent fullness, good carbonation and a mild biscuity malty sweetness with some nice earthy hop bitterness and a hint of floral esters before a smooth, bittersweet finish with some lingering hay character. Very true to style and drinkable. Moolesen (13), Netherlands

Not very present in the nose, but when taking a big mouthful. you are rewarded with the combination of bitterness and smoked malt. It’s very personal, but I like it a lot, as it distinguish itself from other beers. Goes perfect with smoked eel, smoked salmon and a barbecue. DKthe13 (52), Netherlands
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 5, 2009 Drank it on tap at the brewery itself. Amber/red coloured beer, with smoked malt which makes it quite interesting to drink. Bit bitter with small hints of Wheat. But not my type of beer, to many styles for one beer imo.
