oh6gdx (6334), Vaasa, Finland Feb 11, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is grass, hops, more grass and some mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is pretty much the same, I came to think of a pilsener while drinking this. Not very pleasant. bierkoning (4932), La Tropica, Netherlands Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Gusher. Orange blonde and cloudy. leather, lemon and grapefruit in the bretty aroma. Firm flowery hopbitter flavor, citric and even a bit oily. Hints of brett. Not unlike a raw and a bit watery Orval with a dash of lambic. Leathery aftertaste. Nice! fonefan (4871), Ulfborg, Denmark May 14, 2008 Bottle @ Thisted Tasting by Maria.. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, spicy - fruity, perfume. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408) JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 24, 2007 Little whitish rim; (cold) hazy pale amber ale. Grain, graindust, chaff, and slightly manure (not too bad), as well as moss. Very grainy taste - this really lives up to the breweries’ name. Bit of caramel retronasal, sweet ending. Light to medium bodied, grist slickness, not particulary wheat (wheat being used in the recipe). Not undeserving - unpretentious but overall quite OK beer. Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Jan 22, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at Manc Winter Fest. Lovely golden yellow colour, rather hazy and a thin but well behaved white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma but very good. Straight down the line flavour but it’s just one of those that hits the spot all round. I’ll agree with Fin about the slight wheat beer character. Lovely dry and spicy finish. Great stuff. Once more hats off to Wyn for taking the decision to import this stuff for the UK market.
