diabel (1197), Aarschot, Belgium Mar 26, 2008 Bottle Pale, yellow body. White frothy head. Aroma of flowers, honey, pine-apple, caramel, ... quite nice with a decent complexity, strong on the hops. Moderately bitter, lightlu sweet flavour, bit saison-like. Veru well balanced beer, not that complex but very decent. Magic_dave6 (3752), London, Greater London, England Feb 11, 2008 Bottle at ronnies. Aroma is funky, id have thought it an oude gueuze at first, swetish pale malts come through after a while though. Taste is still funky, sweeter pale malts but balanced by the funk and seriously easy to drink. Fin (2188), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jan 21, 2008 Bottle at National Winter Ales Festival, Manchester 2008 poured a murky hazy gold colour with a thin white head. Quite fruity with some nice lemon touches very much in evidence, in fact it tasted similar to a wheat, I really liked this beer. Ober (308), Best, Netherlands Aug 4, 2008 Updated: Aug 23, 2008A hazy yellow/golden colored beer, with a huge thick foamy white head. It stays for a while. The aroma was first of all a little sour. It remind me at a geueze. After that it was malty, some yeast. The taste was floral, with citrus. It was very fresh. There was some hopbitter with nice fruit tones. The beer looks like champagne in the glass. It keeps on sparkling. Very nice for a warm day. Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Jan 22, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at Manc Winter Fest. Lovely golden yellow colour, rather hazy and a thin but well behaved white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma but very good. Straight down the line flavour but it’s just one of those that hits the spot all round. I’ll agree with Fin about the slight wheat beer character. Lovely dry and spicy finish. Great stuff. Once more hats off to Wyn for taking the decision to import this stuff for the UK market.
