Dec 3, 2007 This was a gusher, but didn’t taste infected. Bottle opened up with foam inching out of the bottle, and poured mostly head. Aroma was just amazing, nice fruits and light malts and hops. Flavor was similar with some spices and stronger malts. Really good...wish more of it wouldn’t have been wasted on overflowing head.

Nov 25, 2007 Copper pour, huge white head that stays big the whole time. Aroma is vinegar, orange, belgian gueze like yeast, straw and spicy. Flavor is sweet with lots of honey sweetness a touch of caramel, hay, grassy and bready. A touch of yeasty sourness, a good amount of hop bitterness, spiciness and citrus throughout. Complex flavor, full body and lots of lively carbonation.

Nov 24, 2007 mostly lasting average fizzy white head with good lacing. cloudy orange body. aromas of ripe fruit, moderate vinousness, light hops, and some spicyness. flavor was moderately acetic which subsides as taste buds acclomated to ale. duration was moderate in length. quite enjoyable.

Nov 23, 2007 Hazy orance/gold color with a large dense head, yeasty nose, bitter/ sour flavor with a good dash of spice, finishes dry. This beer has a lot of good qualities but they don’t seem to work all that well together as a whole.

Nov 22, 2007 Bottle. Hazy gold colour with a huge white head and some floaters. Lots of carbonation and a heavy mouth feel. The aroma was yeasty with tropical fruit. The flavour had lots more yeast and peppery spice before an astringent hoppy finish. This was too assertive all round for me.

Nov 20, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours very lively with the classic and rediculous huge white De Dolles head. The beer is orange and almost clear. Aroma is fresh grapefruity hoppy. Flavour is sharp yeasty mixing in with a solid caramel malt sweetness and a decent bitterness in the finish. Straight forward yet powerful.

Nov 18, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice orange colour with a huge long lasting creamy head. Quite fruity, yeasty and stinging alcoholic aroma with some spice. Soft fruity and yeasty bitter hoppy bit spiced flavour with alcohol. Thanks yespr for sharing this very tasty brew.
