The color is analogous with unfiltered apple juice. Huge nose of sour yeast, vanilla, and crisp green apples. Flavors continue with more sour yeast, apples, iceburg lettuce, black pepper, clove, and a slight alcohol astringentness to finish out. High carbonation/ full body. This was a little too carbonated for me, but after letting it simmer down, Arabier proved satisfying. smartlung (154), Valrico, Florida, USA

Very spicy, mild hoppy and alcoholic taste with notes of yeast and fruits. Rather alcoholic finish. 8.0%ABV. talon1117 (628), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 5, 2007 The head is massive with enormous bubbles, takes some time to settle. Finally settles to a fluffy, white, lasting head with random lacing; body is murky and orangey-gold in color. Nose is spicy, yeasty, hoppy, and fruity; spicy and herbal hops, pepper, doughy yeast, corriander and light apricot. Flavor is similar; hops are prominent being spicy and somewhat herbal, other notes of spicy alcohol, doughy yeast, and supporting fruit notes of banana, apricot, and corriander. Palate is medium, soft to lively, and soft feeling with definate warmth. Finishes warm and spicy and a bit dry with lingering herbal notes and the moderate bitterness presenting itself fully. The dry hopping is an interesting twist on the light BSA bringing nice spicy notes in the nose and flavor. Good but not great. Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England

Aroma is fruity, also picked up some coriander too. Taste is grass / hops / citrus with alcohol coming through failry strong. petermadsen (390), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2007 This greyish, piss coloured beer with its fluffy head has an aroma of apple, coriander and assorted fruits. Very delicate!
The flavour is estery and complex. There’s loads of flavours in the apple, fig, dry hop and coriander department. Lots of flavours to explore. The flavour is dry and tart.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Explodes out of the bottle, luckily had the glass ready and only lost a little. Dark, hazy, copper/golden body, with a large foamy/rocky light tan head. Huge tangy aroma of tropical fruit, apple cider, doughy yeast, some caramel notes, a bit of alcohol, a dash of funk, and some piny hops buried in there. Flavor is not quite as bold as I expected from the aroma. Kind of reserved fruitiness, some yeasty funk, a bit of tartness mid-palate, and grassy hops towards the finish. Palate is medium, slightly bitter/tart, with a very soft mouth-feel. probstk (1064), Nepean, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 25, 2007 33 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temp in a tulip glass.
App.: GUSHED and I lost about half the bottle. Very cloudy, dirty light orange, HUGE off-white meringue.
Aroma: Yeast and bread, funk and tang, citrus notes and dirty coriander, some alcohol, a bit of cherries, apples, apricots, and sour, acidic fruits, slight wood and definite alcohol.
Palate: Medium body, powdery and soft effervescence.
Flav.: Slightly funy, lots of fruit, some yeast and dough, leafy hops; fair bitterness on swallowing, too much alcohol for me; slightly sweet.
I don’t think I get it. I’ll try the other bottle sometime. ratebeer told me this is beer #420. I wish I could celebrate...
