Nice beer. DKthe13 (52), Netherlands
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 6, 2009 Tasted on 330ml bottle. Hugh impact on smell, lot’s of aggresive and sweet hops in the smell. The finish is rather very dry and again aggresive. This beer was made to make a point, not to drink it 24/7. Jblauvs (600), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Hazy bronze pour with a lively white head. Aroma is yeasty, bready, with some candi sugar sweetness and a bit of tartness. Flavor is boozey and sweet upfront but evolves into a yeasty, doughy middle and a flutter of bitterness at the end which is fairly dry. Good stuff. SuzyGreenberg (1409), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2009 330 ml bottle - huge fluffy white head and fuzzy gold in color; head settles slowly; flowers, dough, yeast, lemons and citrusy hops; lovely texture with sweet hops, lemons and yeasty spice; a little on the thin side and mildly dry; pretty great though as the spice really brings it all together; yummy beerbill (1972), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 26, 2009 33 cl bottle courtesy of a trade with AtlAggie. Pours a cloudy gold with a large linen white head that became very rocky as it slowly deflated and left lots of sticky lace. Very pleasant yeasty aroma with tart apple and orange. The flavor is more dominated by yeast than the aroma with some very light tart apple and a bit of sugary sweetness. Bright on the palate. Enjoyable. bluebetty (132), Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2009 Very cloudy, cooper to tan colour. Strong white head that eventually disappears to a centimetre or so. Lots of lace. Typical belgium ale aromas. Lots of yeast and hops. Some malt sweetness and a little yeasty on the palate but for the most part it is all about the hops. Good body. Nice beer. Hops are not overpowering and are softened somewhat by slight malt bitterness.
