| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 6, 2007 The aroma is yeasty with sugar, malt, fruit, and spice. The appearance is hazy orange gold with lots of particulates, the head is larger than average. The flavor is like the aroma. Overall this is nothing special. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

The trademark explosion of flavours, this firmly belongs in the De Dolle family. Sweet. sour, fruity, yeasty - all comes together in a lovely beer. Oranges, lemons, new dimenstions in every sip. A pity they are so hard to come by! Floback (341), Naples, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Sheesh...another bottle that volcanoed on me tonight!! Perhaps I need to stop transporting beer 3 hours in my car. This beer pours a dark dark muddy orange underneath a 3 inch off-white head that is quite content in sticking around. Nose is subtle with bubblegum, sweet stuff, and yeast. Same flavors with a spritzy mouthfeel and peppery aftertaste. Not very complex in flavor, but alcohol content is hidden well. High carbonation and medium body. Not bad; I’ve had a lot better by De Dolle. Illini08 (528), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Picked this up on a whim in Plainfield, IL. 11.2 ounce bottle, shared with Duane a few weeks ago. I don’t remember much about it (which probably says something about the beer itself) other than that I wasn’t very impressed with it. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it’s not something I’m going to go out and search for. jason (1627), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear golden body with nice head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is of sweet honey, spices, light citrus hops. Flavor is sweet and dry with a nice amount of spices hitting the tongue. the honey lends this to be a thick and sticky mouthfeel. Goes down real smooth. Ughsmash (4099), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Bottled. Poured hazy, paler golden with a towering cap of fluffy off-white head. The aroma was quite delightful.. soft, peppery spices, light bready yeast notes, and grainy lighter fruits.. just a well-spiced, well-presented Belgian ale. The flavor lost a step or two.. spicy white pepper and yeasty notes ride in shortly after the short sour hit on the tip of the tongue.. musty yeast, a touch of vanilla, and more pepper on the back-end.. improved with warmth, but came across as too hot (alcohol and pepper) for what it was. Medium-bodied with a decent feel, but again, too sharp at too many points. Overall very good. bp (484), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2007 bottle: cloudy golden orange with a big frothy head, dark fruit aroma with hints of honey, taste is dry and tart with a thin mouthfeel. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Bottle from Duane. Dirty orange, huge head, tiny carbonation bubbles, great lacing. aroma ratehr sweet, mostly residuel sugar, hints of honey and significant alcohol. Flavor much the same. Residuel candy sugar and honey, sort of drying, even before alcohol kicks in. Highly attenuated. After sitting open for 30 minutes and now sipping for an hour, carbonation hasn’t died down a bit. Detracts from mouthfeel a tad. 3rd or 4th time trying this, just doesn’t do it fo me.
