| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 30, 2007 33 cl bottle, 10 vol. % alc, bottled / ’bbe’ ? Intransparent darkish amber with a golden shine, topped with an enormous - and lasting - white froth. Light malty aroma with a sticky flowery smell and sharp sulphury notes - like a matchstick that has just been put off. Sweet, round, juicy taste with a hint of fruit (apricot?) and a herbal finish. Sticky palate, light carbonation. The residual mouthfeel is almost whisky-like warming. Bartzilla (445), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Probably my current favorite De Dolle, next to Stille Nacht Reserva. Seemed light on the palate and the most accessible of their brews. Goes down easy and does a good job at staying there. Nice yeast pudding in the bottom of the bottle which might explain my frequent trips to the bathroom all morning. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2007 Bottle. Hazy golden orange in colour with a huge white fluffy head. Complex with notes of yeast, fruit, citrus, caramel and herbs. Slight alco burn. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange-gold body with a creamy, meringue-like white head.
Smell: Full of floral hints, this inviting aroma also has some light brown sugar, honey, sauvignon blanc, and three (3) bales of straw.
Taste: Starts with a light breadiness woven with flavors of honey and dark candy sugar. Eventually, a sour, vinous fruit juice blend of apple and white grape springs up, as does some funky yeast notes. Everything ends up dry, and spicy with just the slightest pinch from the alcohol in the finish. Call me crazy, call me daft, but this kind of reminds me of a tripel. Then again, what do I know?
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with a tingy, effervescent carbonation that’s a bit prickly at times.
Drinkability: Not bad! An able lil’ Belgian brew that’s both complex and fairly flavorful. fishingnet (1047), Brandon, Florida, USA

Pours a hazy copper with a large long lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, malt, and some yeast funk. Taste is malty and yeasty with a strong herbal hop flavor. Med-light mouth feel that finishes dry. Very different but very nice. kkearn (1014), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
