| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2007 33 cL bottle in glass. "Brewed and bottled by DDB 8160 ESEN"; possibly August of 2006? Unfiltered honey color: orange-brown - and cloudy with lots of yeast (and other debris? - looks like cork, but this was a bottle cap!). More flotsam than a few of my home brews that frightened so many! Powdery, lasting head with some crusty lacing. Aroma is caramel alcohol wine. Taste is caramel-honey-alcohol with an excellent toffee prickly-tongue finish. Aftertaste is nice caramel-toffee again, with alcohol breath. Light-to-medium, creamy palate. Pretty sweet beer, both flavor and quality-wise, and I like it. Tastes very similar to the other beers from DDB I have had, but I like this one better, maybe because of the lesser alcohol taste (and lower content). SHIG (2043), Aviano, Italy

At first it has a diffrent kinda bitter fruit tongue, but as it leaves from your buds it has a candy malt finish. Bart (1664), Brussels, Belgium

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Opaque dark-orange with tall, creamy head that lasts. Aroma of honey, citrus, tomato ragout. Flavor packs a bitter punch with the first sip: big hops, mild sweetness and orange notes. More carbonated than creamy. Finish is bitter and sweet, but alcohol wins out. Strong and difficult. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Bottle. Huge egg white fizzy head. Nice big cloud of yeast, with hue slight amber like. Excellent lacing was displayed. Aroma was the classic De Dolle yeast, with notes of citrus, barnyard, sweat, floral notes, caramel, coriander, peaches and some alcohol. Nice full bodied with a light alcoholic texture and a fizzy carbonation. Dominant flavour is sweet, but some bitterness balances this beer well. Nice fruity sweet and light alcoholic finish. Excellent Easter beer!
