Ungstrup (11148), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 28, 2003 [Bottled] An unclear red/orange beer with a beutiful though collapsing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of peach. The flavor is also sweet malty with notes of oranges, peaches, coriander, yeast, and alcohol prickling the tongue. It ends on a fruit rich dryness with a hint of bitterness. It has a great palate for a beer of 7% ABV. But it has too much yeast flavor for my liking. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 4, 2003 Bottled Amber coloured with rich lively head. Dry and nicely hoppy with resiny balanced bitter finish. Complex and very tasty. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 23, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Typical muddy DDB-appearance, pale amber in colour and a thick head. Soft, sweetish (from the added cane) and very pleasant from the refined spiciness. 040494 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 15, 2001 yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 25, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lot of small yeast sediments and a huge white head. Aroma is solid spiced, yeasty and mild caramel malt, mild floral note. Flavour is spiced and sweet, with strong fruity note and distinct warmth from the alcohol. Slight woody note towards the finish. Ends warming and with a slight bite from alcohol and spices.
