Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Thanks for sharing, bro! Pours a crisp golden color with a medium white head which leaves some nice webs of lacing. Aroma is slight yeasty funk, some citrus, and a bit of toffee and caramel. Taste is mostly caramel, toffee, and brown sugar. Different.

Pours an amber color with some medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit of brown sugar, simple syrup, and light Belgian spice. Taste is cloyingly sweet, the spice is all off, I don’t get the hype over this beer. To me, it’s a mess.

Pours a pale tan. Firm head and good Belgian lace. Aroma of ripe fruit, bananas, orange, brown sugar. Great aroma. Sweetness quickly trails off to fruit, and then a tart unripe fruit bitterness. This is amazing. It’s so complex, words escape me.

Tap Courtesy of Eric at Trappeze. Athens GA Pours hazy golden with thick creamy white head, leaving light transparent lacing. Aroma, bready with plety of fruits, candi sugar, some tart raspberry. Taste, yeasty, very smooth and delicious, overall thick palate with several fruits fighting to be noticed. Getting some apricots, pears (giving the little tart finish) melon as well as some well placed candi sugar.

Pours a murky unclear orange with a large off-white froth foamy head that collapses into a lovely dense froth. Strong fruity aroma, candi sugar, whip cream, spicy. Full lively abundantly carbonated mouthful, gritty sugary feel. Very sweet tasting fruity triple, citrus and cream, light toffee, strawberries, exceptionally rich, some doughy notes, super sugary, candied peaches, confection sugar. Somewhat corse, this bottle is about a year old... I suppose a longer aging is necessary. Although, its not very bitter as it is now. Intense, however, I prefer Stille Nacht.
