Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

(An aged bottle at Pikkulintu 2008-03-04) Golden colour, almost clear. Fruity nose with lots of malts. Taste has got lots of malts and salty liquorice aromas. Some whisky. Chocolate. Barley wine like raisin flavours.

Bottle at Ørsted Ølbar. Hazy amber/brown color, big off-white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Flavor is sweet, with hints of hops and yeast. Nutty finish. Great stuff!

Nose has spicy aroma with some grassy citrus and sweetness reminiscent of bubblegum. Opaque golden color with huge white head, lacing galore. Taste has citrus coupled with some bread, alcohol, a little metal, some sweet caramel. Palate kicks with alcohol. An intense and unique tripel, if that’s what the bitch wants to be known as.

Pours a cloudy orange with a loose foam head. Aroma of candied ginger, alcohol, light fruit. Strong alcohol, good strong tripel, very tasty, nice and fruity and malty. Good carbonation, almost creamy. An excellent, potent tripel - thanks to Boutip for the trade!

A hazy dark yellow colored beer. It has a huge white creamy head. It stays for a while, after that it leaves a nice lace on the glass. The aroma is great, sweet, bitter and fruits, like bananas, and apple. Also some hop and yeast. The taste is great too. At first it’s sweet and bitter. The fruits taste are there, the bananas and in the back the citrus. I think it’s a great beer, at a warm sunny day and on every other day.

Bottle. Aromas of generalized light-medium fruits, orange and other citrus rind, other spices, got some ginger somewhere in there. Flavor brings out the tripel bitterness, alcohol, and is perhaps spicier and less fruity than the nose. Got a little weird at times with the spices rubbing up against the alcohol, but nothing overwhelming. Overall a very nice tripel.

bottle - Pours hazy gold with a big white foamy head. The aroma of of yeast, bananas, and perhaps some other fruits. The flavor is sweet malt and fruit at first with a little spice and some mild hops. The alcohol is somewhat noticeable and the finish is very dry. Excellent tripel.
