Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

sampled blind at "Better Know a Style: Abbey Tripel". pours golden with big white head. nose is yeasty, fruity, white grape, and lots of pear. flavor is very fruity, white grapes, pears, white wine, some boozy, yeasty. full body. lively carbonation. just wonderful. that de dolle yeast is pretty amazing here. this was the run away winner of the 26 total tripels at the blind tasting.

The stopped selling this in Oregon for some reason. Pours cloudy dull orange with a tall off-white head. Nose of spices, tropical fruit, bread, and apples. High carbonation keeps this beer fizzy on the palate and amplifies the spicy textures. No excess alochol present, very crisp tripel. Woody flavor towards the finish melds with the spiciness, dry and a slight grape flavor shows in the finish.

Very much like the Oerbier but with some lemon rind and breadyness. Pleasant. Once again, that super full body and hop bite is present like in all of De Dolle’s Masterpieces. The beer is truly beautiful. Very yellow-copper than is so thick it looks like lemonade with thick creamer poured inside. Absolutely beautiful, nearly perfect, and among the only bear of which I will suck down a six-inch head to get to the beautiful liquid beneath with pleasure. Beautiful, pleasureful, describe this beer.

From bottle at the trappist in Oakland. High carbonation, excellent head. Very ripe fruit flavors, especially tangerine. Nice bready, doughy notes in the aroma. Extremely low hop flavor and aroma as you might expect. Nice and dry, but not bone dry. I really enjoyed this beer.

330 ml bottle purchased at Spirits RB. Pours a brownish orange solid body with an enormous pure white super dense, rocky, frothy, large bubble having, incredible staying power showing, great lace leaving head. (Is that enough adjectives for ya) Fruity yeasty aroma with notes of apple, banana, white grapes, pine apple and sugar. Full mouth feel with rather lively carbonation and some noticable alcohol warmth on the back of your throat. Grainy bready flavor with notes of yeast and possibly a slight touch of apple but no where near as fruity or sweet as the aroma. Solid beer. Drank this while watching Live Free or Die Hard, if I wasn’t trying to lose wait it would of been LIve Free and Drink Hard but I’m trying to keep it to just a few beers today.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a huge yeasty head. Smell is of citrus and apples and biscuits. Taste is fruity, yeasty, dry, grassy, and bread like. Mouthfeel is dry and acidic. Finish is medium and of bread. Good trippel but I like mine sweeter.
