Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

A very champagne-like brew. Excellent robust flavor with a subtle alcohol content. Hints and tastes of sour apple, fruity citrus aromas. Great long lasting head with excellent lacing. Good brew!

Wow a sweet malty aged Belgian ale smell. A perfect cloudy orange sunset color with lots of sediment. It is delicious, strong, and malty after 10 months of aging.

330ml bottle from grape & gourmet. pours a beautiful, slightly hazy, straw gold with a huge, soap bubble white head and great lacing. aroma is wonderful with huge, tart, fruity notes of green apple, pear, and lemon zest with notes of spiced cider, belgian yeast, and a hint of clove. flavor is delicious as well with dry, apple, pear, and green grape flavors up front, backed by slightly sweet, biscuity light malts, yeast, and cinnamon spice with, long dry, and slightly bitter finish. mouthfeel is crisp, very highly carbonated, and the 10% is barely detectable. overall, on hell of a tripel.

Beautiful looking beer .If this beer were a woman, it would maybe be a "Mad Bitch" but hardly a Gargoyle like that thang on the label. This was funky and wacky and darker than most Triples. The head was like foam party foam. Duvel-esqu flavours..dry with spicy, fruity esters...then sweet caramel and floral grassy hop tangs . Complex and drinkable enuff to knock you on your ass.Classy beer.

Pours a hazy light copper brown with a gigantic fizzy and mostly lasting white head with nice lacing. Spicy and hoppy nose mixed with yeast, bread and sweet fruits. Aroma is also sweet and yeasty with a nice spicy complexity. The alchohol is sometimes a bit too much but the aftertaste rounds it off with a fruity nicely lingering bitterness.

Pours from the bottle a slightly cloudy, dark golden color with a thick, white head that fades on top of a very highly carbonated beer, so much so that there are bubble popping faster than soda. Aroma reminds me of the tartness sometimes found in a chardonnay. Aroma holds a lot of biscuit and bready notes, light citrus and spice hoppiness with some sour apple coming through toward the end. Flavor begins with a grape and apple dry fruitiness followed by a nice biscuit malt presence and finishes with a sweet candi sugar and spicy hop note. Alcohol is very sharp at the end but melds very well with the very dry ending of the beer. The alcohol definitely warms your throat after the swallow. Carbonation produces a beer which is very lively in you mouth, producing bubbles that pop exploding taste everywhere. Overall an excellent tripel and one that really represents what the style is about.

Bottle at Papago. Great beer and a SICK tripel. Aroma is of date and raisin at first but becomes more like even yeast and alcohol when used to it. Flavor is thick, sweet, clean and evolves into dark fruit of a quad (oddly) as it progresses. Very unique and tasty.
