Bottle from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen. Vionous aroma with more similaritys with a barley wine than a stout. Dry chocolate taste. A dissapointment from De Dolle.

Bottle. 11.2 oz. Pours deep brown with a tall, mighty, frothy beiege head. Aroma of spice, espresso, roasted malt, vanilla, chive, and hints of pepper. Full body with a sturdy, bold moutfeel. Powerful, warm finish. Excellent stout.

Thick toffe color pillowy head. Dark chocolatey brown color. Aroma of dark chocolates and dark candies hints of hazelnuttiness vanilla and caramel sweetness. Lots of fizz at front very dry nutty flavors little tartness in there as well as it warms it finishes a little smoother and sweeter with the vanilla and caramel notes coming out

Dark brown/Black pour with very lively pillowy beige head that lasts forever. Aroma is Dark malt, chocolate, hazelnut and yeasty, a bit of vanilla as well. Flavor starts off with vanilla and a bit of booze and melds into a nice chocolate roastiness. Note: as this warms more flavors come out including a subdued tart sourness and some tobacco

~ Purchased this 11.2 oz bottle from New Beer Distributors in Manhattan, NY. Appearance is dark brown with a modest head that just doesn’t want to go away. The smell is intense. Dark fruits, spices, yeasts, hints of chocolate and vanilla - it’s all there! Taste is outstanding. Body is medium and carbonation is on the high side, but that’s a good thing because it gives me the chance to pick out all the wonderful flavors. The 9% ABV is masked quite well, but you still get that warm fuzzy feeling from the alcohol. I feel I am not worthy to drink such an elegant, complex beer such as this! World-class! ~

Bottle 33cl. Pours a dark brown colour with a huge head and good carbonation. Smell is very present, has some good nuts there and got nice malts there too. Taste is a pleasant balance of sweet fruits and spices, good palate makes this beer just right.
