Big roasted malt & fruity ester nose. Huge carbonation, and huge head. Nice woody flavors from the malts & nugget hops. Rich coffee, chocolately alcohol warmth. No harsh hot alcohol. I would have been fooled if someone told me this was lightly barrel aged. Nice and dry for the style, which is surprising because this runs right up into imperial stout category without venturing too far into that realm. The only real thing I can ding this one on is the over-carbonation, but with Belgian yeast strains, you kinda expect it. Let is sit in the glass and warm up and vent carbonation and it keeps getting better and better. Bonus points for having such a great label..

Black color with incredibly big and thick, small bubble tan head. Chocoalte coffee and salty licorice/olive. Fair amount of yeast. Full bodied.

Pours black, thick with a huge off white head that is really long lasting. Dry roasted malt with hints of cherry, raisin, and chocolate in the aroma. Upon the first sip, your mouth is just engulfed in carbonation. I felt as though I had to let it settle in my mouth just to get an idea of the taste. Fruity notes that come with belgian yeast, dry roasted malt, chocolate all come out in the taste. A really nice stout (as long as your not expecting Guiness).

Flaske.

Pours rich and black with an equal sized tan head. Great lacing. Aromas of dark chocolates, dark pitted fruits, a fine port, and a Sambuca Espresso! Another fully carbonated Belgian Stout. Taste is similar, dark chocolates, espresso, some roasted notes. A long dry finish with a bitter end. Thick bodied like an Imperial Stout, with a micro-bubble explosion.

Creme marrom com incrível densidade e consistência. Aroma de malte, chocolate e caramelo, fugindo do lugar-comum das stout. Amargor moderado e seca na medida.

Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is of light roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, dark fruits, coffee, and a little alcohol. Flavor is of roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, slight coffee, dark fruit, and some bitterness on the finish. Enjoyed the flavor much better then the aroma. Great beer.

Verydark brown, nearly opaque, big fizzy brown head. Aromas of stewed prunes, raisins, licorice. Delicious port-like palate of flavours-- stewed plums, raisins, fruitcake, with some bitter chocolate and coffee to round it out. Finish is bitter and slightly salty. My main criticism is the unusually high level of carbonation. This beer still maintains its magnificence despite the near-fizziness up front, but I think if it had a smoother body it could be elevated into something truly great.
