| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 21, 2005 Earthy in aroma, yet fantastically light overall, this is very balanced. It has some anise and other more gentle spicing, like a baby Deus or a more natural and pumped up Duvel. A lovely bit of pine, almost. Sparkling throughout. Sammy (4012), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Malty and yeasty base, cookie sugar, creamy. Understated ginger, drop of clove and nutmeg Velverty smooth. Hops noticeable midway and through finish. The Etruscan (307), Tuscany, Italy

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2005 33 cl bottle. Served in St. Bernardus chalice.
Appearance is golden w/ big chunks of sediment. Medium head. The aroma is complex and spicy, w/ hops, slight sweetness, some fruitiness, and yeast. The flavor is complex as well: yeast, fruitiness, solid malt backbone, and assertive, bitter finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Somewhat incoherent, but interesting nonetheless. mucom (35), Netherlands
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 21, 2005 Light golden colored hazy beer with a big frothy head. Citrus, spice, yeast and fruit are resulting in an overwhelming aroma. The taste gives us fruityness, spices and a fresh bitterness. Alcohol and carbonation are well present. The afttertaste ends with a citric touch. Welldone, what a beer...
