Bottle sent over the Atlantic thanks to Brad. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is really interesting; funk, sourness, spices, and a sweet malt. The taste is pretty similar; nothing overpowering, just some spices, citrus, a funky apple taste, and a strong fizzy body. Not bad at all. Unusual. I liked it.

Bottle shared from Douglas88. pours a pale boring light yellow but one glass had a massive white foamy head. Lots of yeast with this, lots. Upon further inspection, it woild seem that there was maybe some lemony stuff going on as well as a bit of spice that I can not pit my finger on. weird brew.

Thanks to footbalm for this bottle. Rating #991. Pours cloudy orange/gold, with a very large, white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, and spices. Flavor is yeast, fruit, hops, and malt.

Bottle: Poured a murky orange with floaters, the head is white and thick. Aroma is yeasty with spices. The taste is rich caramel malt with nice hoppy spices. Leaves a dry veggie finish with sweet sugar. Another fine De Dolle product.

2008-03-03. Hazy pastel orange-yellow body with a large white head, some lacing (4+) Aroma has yeast, and a melange of floral hops and spice. Occasional grassy notes. (7+). Dry flavour, can’t put my finger on it. Dry, light zippy yeasty floral alludes to lemon zest, very brief announcements of alcohol presence that do not linger. Very mild hints of straw, and lemon seeds in the finish (7+) Average palate. Nice.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a very frothy white head and millions of small bubbles rising from the bottom - looks absolutely great! Stunning aroma of clover honey, yeast, pears, figs, fennel, grass, flowers, wheat and a bit of coriander seed - very nice! Medium-bodied; Effervescent taste up front with a good malty backbone, almost bitter leading to a sweet honey flavour fading to a very herbal and floral finish - complex for being a rather light beer. Aftertaste shows bitter overtones with some sweet tastes as well. Overall, very pleasing for such a light beer! This one could be drunk pretty much anytime during the day, even early in the afternoon on a hot day. I’ve never seen this beer in the states, so I had to purchase it overseas when I first saw it - even though it is popular as a De Dolle! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Bier Temple in Bruxelles, Belgium on 28-February-2008.

Hazy honey gold hue, with a frothy white head, leaving some laces, yeasty, spicy coriander nose, with some fruity notes of grapefruit, mango and ripe apples, with a sweet pale malt accent, and a faint floral hop mintiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, cheesy, zesty, spicy character, with some honeyed pale malts, with a touch of coriander, some flowery hop grassiness ending in some lemon, grapefruit fruitiness, leading towards a hoppy dry bitterness finish.
