Bottle. Pours murky orange with lively white foamy head. Aroma is caramel / grassy / some liquorice / yeasty. Taste is Caramel / malts / sweet / coriander / citrus. Finish is bitter with a faint alcohol edge

Hazy golden with large head. Yeasty aroma with notes of oranges, coriander and flowers. Sweet hoppy packed with hops. Ends bitter.

Pours a murky brown (toffee looking) beer. Sediment is visibile. Large white head. Nose of toffee, molasses, sugar, alcohol and cloves. Taste of alcohol, malt, vinegar, aniseed, orange cloves gives way to a moderate sweet finish.

Bottle. Straw coloured with a big, frothy white head. Light spicy aroma with some floral hops. Sweet malt flavour with some coriander, spice and citrus. Yeasty, dry finish. Very good.

33 cl bottle. Pale golden, slightly cloudy with a large white head. Great spicy aroma, soft fruit and bubble gum, with melon, pineapple, apples, and some other tropical fruits coming out in the nose. Very bright mintiness on the back of the palate that really sets off the fruitiness. Excellent flavour as well, with a soft perfumey spiciness over crisp Belgian pale malts. As the beer warms the mint really keeps coming forward. Prickly mouthfeel. Fruity finish. Awesome brew.

Thick, very slowly fading white head, very fluffy with modest lacing. The body is a hazy, deep golden, glowing softly. A perfumed and citric aroma is light, airy and inviting. De Dolle’s signature funk is streamlined here, a linear progression of mild funk, scratchy pine and coriander. Also apparent are hints of white pepper, cinnamon, clove, active yeast. The flavor introduces light bitterness and pleasant low to mild acidity. Medium sweetness grows with every endearing sip of this cloud-like nectar. Citrus and yeast proliferate in a finish that is floral, hoppy, yeasty and lightly spicy. Malt is too dimunituve throughout to warrant more excitement in the aromatics or the taste. The mouthfeel has a watery texture, is fizzy and spicy but has fat, velvety carbonation and glides smoothly across the palate. An intriguing brew.

Bottle at Beermania in Brussels. Cellar temp, poured into a trappist glass. This seems to be the only regular De Dolle beer around that is not imported to the states. Pours with a big white head on a cloudy gold body. Aroma is a little rough, minerally, strawberry, with signature De Dolle yeast -- like freshly fermenting dough, just dropped in the oven. Pleasant, dry, drinkable up front, the finish is very rough, minerally, hay, and completely brings down an otherwise nice beer.

(Bottle) Pours a cloudy yellow body with a thick egg-white head. Aroma of mustiness, funky, public bathroom air mister, butter, floral, coriander, pepper, and lemon zest. Flavor of light yeast, floral, citrus, and coriander.
