Pours a nice cloudy deep amber colour with a good light brown mostly diminishing light brown head. The aroma is a bit sour and sweet with caramel and prunes. The flavour is quite sour with a pleasant sweetness, toasty caramel and malt with some spices. Sour dry toasty finish. I do not believe this beer to have a whole 13% alc. Aroma is sour and wine like. To taste this is extremely sour and powerful, lots of alcohol heat but still reasonably easy to drink and rather creamy. Very good. yespr (12426), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Raisin sweet aroma, with a citric note and a mild malt presence. Sweet then dry and finally sour flavoured. Vague malt base beneath. Dry sour long into the finish. Very nice. Pours a murky dark chestnut brown with a thick white head. Spicy anise, sour cherry oak aroma. Taste is tart yet richly spicy and dry. The tartness is with you through the finish, but never too intense. A sour, earthy brew. The 13% is well-hidden. padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

A great looking beer! I don’t thnk I’ve given a 5 before? Sweet aroma of malt, brown sugar and light berries. Taste is sweet and slightly tangy - dried dark fruits, malt and brown sugar. Light finish of berries. Not very harsh at all considering the abv.
