| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Aug 1, 2007 From a 11.2 oz bottle shared by brewfiend, pours a semi-hazy champaign-like beverage with a thin fizzy white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film. Lots of bubbles in this brew. Aroma of sour apples, fizz scents of Asti Spumante and a touch of cloves. Tast is highly carbonated, medium bodied with flavors of sour apples/pears and tart bourbon. Finish is as tart as its flavor with a slight bourbon oak aftertaste. Ooh, the alcohol warmth in the finish is well felt. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Sweet, spicy nose, cookie and light caramel, some honey notes. Sweet and thick, somewhat vinous texture. Fruity and sweetly malty, the spices recede a bit in the flavor. Still a tad hot.
