Excellent lacing. Slightly unclear light brown body. Amazing aroma, a fruitbomb! Also scents of bubblegum, caramel, chocolate, spices and yeast. Taste is candysugar, malt-sweetness and fruit-sweetness. Not cloying at all, only a fresh and inviting sweetness. Christmas-spices, fruity acidity, yeast, refined hops and alcohol to balance. Very complex and filling. Fruity and spicy and gently bitter end with long duration. This beer was made for me. I love it! fozapd (33), Burlington, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 18, 2007 De Dolle Stille Nacht poured a hazy golden colored body with a white head. This beer was cloudy! The taste was sweet with hints of clove, orange peer, and honey. This beer is REALLY sweet. I found it enjoyable, but even I as a fan of sweet beers thought it could be toned down a drop. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Pours a yeasty, slightly hazy glowing orange with a small white head. Pretty fruity aroma but with a noticeable spiciness to it. Alot of orange peel, some coriander, and malts. The flavor is very sweet and malty, almost sugary. Syrupy maouthfeel, with a long finish. Just slight on the fruit, but heavier on the malt with some spices. Kind of a subtle earthiness to it, that makes it easy to drink and enjoyable. Nicely done. thenick (746), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Pours a very hazy and cloudy gold color. The aroma is spicy with bread notes, malt, and slight hops and maybe even some sweet honey thrown in. Taste is a complex balance of sweet and spicy across the nose, and this beer executes this complexity in a very subtle way. There is also a hint of clove and earthy notes thrown in for good measure Great winter beer from De Dolle, a brewery that rarely misses. Guerde (706), Welcome, Minnesota, USA

Poured a very cloudy golden color with a lot of sediment present. The head was a large light tan. Aroma was wonderful with honey, spices, and bread. Taste was very sweet with a nice spicy finish. I will definitely drink this again.
2006 bottle. Pours hazy dark gold with a light white head that sticks around. Aroma is very sweet and yeasty, with a lot of vinous smells, pineapple, raisin, butterscotch, and sweet rolls. Some toffee also makes its presence known. The taste is similar to the aroma with a lot of sweetness in the beginning, with flavors of toffee, candi sugar, raisin, butterscotch, which changes more to a dry white wine flavor in the finish. There is also a lot of bready yeast on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium with a lot of carbonation like all De Dolle beers. This beer is as good as it was the last time I had it, and I’m always consistently impressed with this brewery. OSLO (826), Perth, Australia

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Syrupy hazy golden blonde pour with a frothy white head. Sugary candied malts are evident on the nose as well as sugared fruits, raisins and figs. The body is syrupy and sugary, smooth without much carbonation. I can’t recall ever having such a sweet beer, its lip smacking-ly sweet, however this is not altogether a bad thing. There are some robust sugary, honey malted flavors, and a dose of alcohol which warms the throat and eases into a long drying finish. Silky smooth mouthfeel, good brew, worth trying
