Bottle, 6.5%. Aroma of lightly toasted malts. Very nice, dark brown colour. Good big, stable, creamy light brown head. Nice flavour, quite malty with toasted, slightly burnt malts. Also a bit like burnt/brown sugar. Malt bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation. As whole, a bit on the sweet side, but otherwise well-balanced. 6 4 7 4 15

Looks great in my dimpled mug: clear dark brown with a biege head. Sweet malty nose with some fruits and roast. Good sweet, bitter, malty and yeasty some butterscotch and marzipan. Long sweet malty finish with an EtOH kick. This is actually very good imho.

A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from Quinns. Sweet malty nose with notes of butterscotch and marzipan and a lick of alcohol. Actually very good. Dark ruby brown appearance. Hardly any head or lace. Flavour is malty and yeasty. Bitter al;coholic finish.
