Cloudy brown color, big head. Aroma is bit sour, milky, some medicine. Caramel malty taste, bit sour. Bitter palate, metallic. Bad bottle?

Dutch Ratebeer Meeting. Very cloudy dark brown coloured, brown head. Smells yeasty and sour, some yoghurt. Very sour flavour, some iron. Is this really supposed to be a dubbel? Apart from the sour-bitter flavour pretty one dimensional. Not an ideal start for a new brewery if you ask me...

Re-rate, Bottled, blind tasting session, 3.5: Quite a difference from the first bottle I had. This one doesn’t have that sourish and rusty flavors at all. Was it a bad bottle? Did it get better over the past half year? Spicy aroma with laurel, cinnamon, blackberries and yeast. Ruby color, hazy, beige head, good lace. Sweet and increasing sweetness as well towards the finish, hint of fruity sourness, light but increasing bitterness. Blackberries, licorice, laurel and a hint of wood. Nice beer. Bottled, UDRBG, 2.5: Yeasty, sourish and rusty aroma. Cloudy, brown color, light brown creamy head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, rusty, sourish, hints of spices like laurel, yeasty. Unbalanced and probably a little infected.

Aroma of mainly yeast with some caramel and coffee malts. Hazy, brown coloured with a lasting, off-white-brown head. Taste is sweet, yeasty, caramel and coffee malty, bit carbonated. Some bitterness. Not very complex, quite straight, but okay.
