Ouch, i’d better brought this to the LCRBM2! Very nice!(Hope to find another bottle).Garnet red, no head. One of a few excellent dutch beers. Enough.; Aromas of dark fruit, sherry, port, dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice. Tastes bitterish, sweet and all the above . Gooood.

Bottled. A dark ruby coloured beer with a slim short-lived tan coloured head. The aroma is fruity and sweet. There are caramel notes and some treacle or maple syrup. The taste is very fruity and thick. Good alcohol, good sweet malts, some cane sugar. I really enjoyed this and am suprised at its low marks up to now, but perhaps the huisbrouwerij are ironing out any initial quality issues.

(bottle, received from bierkoning) Hazy ruby amber coloured effervescent body with a big and stable foamy beige head. Sweet malty and slightly alcoholic nose with cinnamon and liquorice, also a bit soapy. Sweet initial flavour and molassy taste with caramel and spices, slightly sour and tart finish with a strong sweetness. Not a very round brew.

PRZH Winterbierfestival. Aroma of malts, bit sourish. Hazy, brown coloured with a brownhead. Taste is malty, bit sour and all the delicate ingredients from a farm are heavily noticeable. The aftertaste is especially very bad. yuk.

Bottled, Winterbierfestival. Raisin and carbonation aroma. Hazy brown color, beige small head, few lace. Very sweet, sour, raisin, hint of licorice, spices. Sticky, full and out of balance.

Bottle, PRZH Winterbierfestival. Dark brown color, short head. Aroma of alcohol, raisin, bit caramel malty. Quite alcoholic taste, bit sharp. It should be a bit more balanced, and not this sharp. Definitely not a starter.

Dark brown color. Maple syrup and touches of licorice and yeast in the aroma. Very sweet and sugary flavor with licorice and a hint of coughing syrup. Syrupy texture. Lacks finesse.
