(bottle) Hazy amber colour with a ruby shine and a small foamy off-white head. Strong fruity aroma of cranberries and red currants. Malty and fruity taste with yeasts, medium bodied and smooth carbonated. Dry and fruity, slightly smoked finish. Nice combination of fruitiness and a dense smoky note. Thanks for this rare sample, bierkoning !

Picked up the last two bottles in a Gall&Gall drinks shop in Zevenhuizen. Orange red color. Peachy aroma with beechwood. Peachy flavor with lychee and a touch of beechwood smoke. Nothing like smoked ham or smoked cheese. The first signs of infection are showing, but in an odd way it suits the beers. Not perfect, but very nice.

Hazy amber; slim yellow-brown head. Meaty nose, but not smoked, rather yeasty esters, giving the smoked meat impression. More smoked in the taste than the nose; meaty and just as in the Mommeriete smoked beer, a lot of the Dutch-type smoked sausage (Ringworst). Orangezest background flavours. Medium to well-bodied. Nice, restrained smoked flavour, not like Rauchbier. Specifically more fruity, as if mixed with a tripel, and (of course), Belgian-type top fermenting yeast giving all the fusels.
