Nice dubbel with a dark amber colour and a beige head. Malty and sweet aroma with hints of yeast. Flavor is also malty and sweet with hints of chocolate.

Aug 29, 2008 murky brown under a frothy tan head. aroma is unappealing with some faint caramel, raisin and a good bit of alcohol. flavor is slightly nutty, pear, plum, brown sugar light flowery hops. drinkable but not too exciting.

Medium mouthfeel: chewy yeastiness, brown sugar, and dried dark fruits upfront; relaxed carbonation; basic, slightly bland dubbel. Medium finish: breadiness, brown sugar, and caramel; ends dry.
