Ungstrup (11408), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2003 A deep red beer with a beutiful head but mine had clumps of yeast floating around in it. The flavor is rather sweet yeasty with notes of fruit, apples, and burnt caramel. The middle is somewhat thin - especially for a 6.5% ABV. But it ends on a dryness combined with a good bitterness. Papsoe (10580), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2005 Updated: Jun 10, 2005(Bottle33 cl) Not really brown, more like a deep amber with an extremely large sediment. Sweet, but not nauseating. Bitter, but not in a harsh way. Apparently with spices, but no sugar. It doesn’t say which spices. Distinct, fruity ale-touch, but I find it hard to define exactly which flavor. Splendid. 301203 joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 10, 2006 Bottle.
Hazy brown coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of malts, spices and tobacco.
Sweet flavour of caarmel, spices and tobacco. oh6gdx (6348), Vaasa, Finland Feb 13, 2008 Bottled. Rubyish brown colour with big fluffy beige head. Aroma is nutty, mild fruityness, herbal and also some slight rubbery/metallic notes lurking in the background. Flavour is red berries, some malts, yeastyness and mild spicyness. As it gets warmer it gets some mild roasted notes as well as some mild alcohol. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 12, 2008 Date: 10/10/2008
