harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 13, 2006 33cl bottle. Reddish brown colour with thin beige head. Choc plum and herb aroma bit of raisin too. Bit of candy sugar in mouth with milk choc finish. Not too keen on the aroma, but the milk choc flavour in the mouth is lovely and so are the raisin flavours on the end. Not overly sweet. Good dubbel.

Some spice, quite restrained. Flavor is ripe fruit, bananas and a slight coffee touch. Slightly phenollic with a short earthy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium, some chewy malt and easy drinking but with a sudden watery finish. Ok, easy drinking dubbel that could do with a bit more personality.
