The flavour is slightly yeasty and fruity like a regular Belgian Tripel with vague ginger notes underneath. I thought/hoped that the ginger would be more evident in this brew, but it's still interesting. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Spicy ginger and coriander nose - very floral, perfumy, soft, yeasty, delicate and inviting. Has a mild pepperiness, prickly on the tongue, spicy, flavor, yeast-heavy but light bodied. Very good beer overall. yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway

A nice-looking beer with an almost clear body, golden color and a white head. Ginger, sweetness and some malt in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and gingery with pale malt and a touch of other spices. Quite dusty, effervescent, sweetish and full-bodied mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity, malty finish with a good dash of ginger. A nice beer, but I think I would prefer it without the ginger. Yeasty, slightly sweet and wheaty malty aroma with notes of citrus, ginger and delicate spices. Moderately bitter flavour with a balancing malty sweetness, full bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty malty and slightly citric taste with a tinge of ginger spice; dry-ish bitter sweet, slightly fruity and moderately spicy finish. Quite rounded, but not very complex brew. 01.XI.09 JPDIPSO (4908), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2009 Cloudy straw color with a tallish white head. Sweet ginger and pale malt scents. Some light brown sugar notes as well. LIght pale malt start. Nearly a light lager start. Light ginger kicks in, not as sharp as most ginger brews. I find this very balanced for a light ginger brew. Fairly dry in the finish and linger. Just a bit of earthy malt left to warder about. jbrus (4872), Delft, Netherlands
