| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2003 The ginger is not very obvious due to the dryhopping technique used in the production for this beer. The ginger still adds a nice spicey touch to the brew. SSSteve (2107), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Bottle: Poured a murky yellow with white froathy color head. The aroma jumped out of the glass as I was pouring it, very spicy with ginger bread wheat smell. The tingle was pleasant to my tongue and the dry veggy like finish was pretty good too. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 4, 2004 Clear gold, lasting white head. Ginger dominates aroma. Med caramel start with strong ginger and spice flavour. Not my cup of tea. altonbrownd (1966), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2009 Bottle at De Spuyt. Golden yellow body with big white head. Ginger nose and taste are hard to miss and unusual (one of 3 on RateBeer) but really not my thing. Bitter finish. Warming due to high ABV. stouby (1957), Holbaek, Denmark

I don’t like ginger, but it wasn’t *that* evident in here, but it was still there and somewhat unpleasant. Malty/sweet/ginger/cleaning fluid.
