Bottle at O’briens. Pours with a clear, golden body topped by a thin to medium thick, white head with some lacing. It’s sweet yet malty with nice notes of ginger and a little candy sugar. Light bodied and smooth.

The ginger is not very obvious due to the dryhopping technique used in the production for this beer. The ginger still adds a nice spicey touch to the brew.

clear gold under a lively fizzy white head with lots of carbonation bubbles. fresh, herbal, crisp, vanilla, aroma. flavor is cool minty, vanilla. leaves your mouth feeling clean and refreshed like some kind of minty chewing gum or toothpaste. drinkable and not too focused on the ginger but it’s definitely there.

Bottle: Poured a murky yellow with white froathy color head. The aroma jumped out of the glass as I was pouring it, very spicy with ginger bread wheat smell. The tingle was pleasant to my tongue and the dry veggy like finish was pretty good too.

Clear gold, lasting white head. Ginger dominates aroma. Med caramel start with strong ginger and spice flavour. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle at De Spuyt. Golden yellow body with big white head. Ginger nose and taste are hard to miss and unusual (one of 3 on RateBeer) but really not my thing. Bitter finish. Warming due to high ABV.

Bottle, at DBF2004 (040515). Golden with large white head. Aroma moderate malty (moderate notes of ginger and elderflower, fruity), light yeasty. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, creamy, flat carbonated. Interesting beer.

Bottled @ the Saturday session, St Albans Beer Festival 2004. Beer #36. I don’t like ginger, but it wasn’t *that* evident in here, but it was still there and somewhat unpleasant. Malty/sweet/ginger/cleaning fluid.
