Bottle with a best before date of 5/2009. Medium sized white head that mostly diminished, floaties, spotty lacing, very little carbonation, hazy, and a pale yellow hue. The aroma was sweet, fruity, spicy notes, some ginger, and yeast. Ditto for the flavor with a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and this is a medium bodied beer. Quaffable, easy to driink, but very light ginger aroma and flavor IMO. Just a so-so beer for me as it is not a bad beer per se, but it did not leave me wanting to seek this one out again.

Light golden body with a soft small white head. Fruity herbal nose, yeasty with a light ginger note. The ginger was very mild, I realy enjoy ginger so I wouldn’t mind it turned up a touch. Fairly watery palate, carbonation was very soft taking away some of the spiciness of the beer. Just ok for me, dry palate, but a bit more malt and some more carbonation, a touch more ginger and I would have enjoyed it more.

Bottled @ the Saturday session, St Albans Beer Festival 2004. Beer #36. I don’t like ginger, but it wasn’t *that* evident in here, but it was still there and somewhat unpleasant. Malty/sweet/ginger/cleaning fluid.

Fruity, peppery aroma. Flavour is fruity with a hint of yeast and pepper.

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with floaties and a white head. Aroma of fruits and spices, especially ginger. Sweet flavour of fruits and ginger with spicy notes. A bit too sweet.

Courtesy of Yespr. It’s hazy, golden with a small, dense head. The aroma has notes of flower, fruit and malt. The flavour has sweetness, notes of spice, malt, dry citrus and very light hints of ginger. IMO the ginger could/should have been much more pronounced.

clear gold under a lively fizzy white head with lots of carbonation bubbles. fresh, herbal, crisp, vanilla, aroma. flavor is cool minty, vanilla. leaves your mouth feeling clean and refreshed like some kind of minty chewing gum or toothpaste. drinkable and not too focused on the ginger but it’s definitely there.

Hazy pale gold with a small white head and some sediment. Sweet, fruity aroma with ginger. Couldn’t pick up the ginger in the taste, though. Just a sweet, fruity flavour with a curious hint of pepper. Alcohol is very well hidden.
