elihapa (821), Honolulu, California, USA Feb 6, 2009 Bomber from Forest City. Pours gold with a nice fluffy-white head. Aroma of esters, yeast, and candi sugar. Smooth palate with prickly carbonation supports flavors of lemon, flowers, and yeast primarily, with gentle hoppy qualities. Goes down smoothly, with a refreshingly bitter aftertaste. This is not the most dynamic beer out there, but it is superbly balanced and true to style. kp (7177), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Jan 18, 2009

bu11zeye (4937), Frisco, Texas, USA Jan 2, 2009 (750ml bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, yeast, citrus, and pepper. Flavor of coriander, yeast, grass, and alcohol. Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina Dec 1, 2008 Bottle, october 08. Hazy golden yellow color with a medium, white head. Spicy aroma with some graininess and fruit. Very perfumy but a bit sweet and cloying. Fruity, spicy. Not as sweet as expected from the nose. Kind of unidimensional. Medium, vivid, enveloping flavor. Alcohol well hidden but warming. Nice, warming tripel. A tad too gingery. mar (1379), Dallas, Texas, USA Nov 26, 2008 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. pale yellow with a thin white head. fruity, yeast and some musk on the nose. nice flavor of spices and yeast. clean finish with a funky aftertaste. Swalden28 (1257), McKinney, Texas, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a cloudy yellow with white fizzy head. Aroma of some fruit, faint malt, a little bread. Flavor is spicy, fruit, malty, some farmhouse. Palate is medium body, high carbonation. Not bad at all..... ChainGangGuy (2313), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Nov 21, 2008 Appearance: Pours a hazy, yellow body with a smallish, white head. Some sediment rolling around in there, too.
Smell: Belgian malts coated in candi sugar, honey, spices, hunks of fruit, and even some flower petals.
Taste: Pale maltiness augmented with a kick of candi sugar sweetness. Fruity tastes of lemons and pears. A tad floral. Spoonful of orange blossom honey. The tiniest pinch of Chinese Five Spice. Mild hop bitterness. Slight yeastiness. I must say the 9% ABV is well hidden. Sweetish, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-high, effervescent carbonation.
Drinkability: My my, that’s not half bad! Reasonably tasty and surprisingly easy to drink down. blutt59 (1638), Dallas, Texas, USA Nov 20, 2008 bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, clear yellow pour with 1/4" foam head, aromas are light herbal, flavors are vegetal and herbal such as celery and mint
