Bottle. Slightly alcoholic aroma, smells a bit raw. Palate is quite spicy, peppery, with typical Belgian yeasty acidity that you expect in these tripels, probably a touch too much alcohol noticed in the finish.

Light hazy deep golden colour with a dense white head. Malty and yeasty aroma with a faint fruityness, a coriander spicyness and some sweet alcohol. Quite yeasty and peppery flavor with notes of fruit. Spicy and dry finish with a light alcohol sweetness.

Clear golden with a huge, white, Duvel-like head.Sweet coriander and yeasty nose. A lot of coriander and some pleasant sweet chocolatey maltiness in the flavours.Dry finish. Feeling rather light-weight for its strength, above-average carbonation. Alcohol is warming, though. A tripel with some refreshing saison qualities- definitely a beer with personality.

Cloudy light amber color; thick head. The aroma is classic for a Tripel, malty and spicy (coriander); and milk chocolate. Same for the taste: good malt and very strong spicy character (coriander), dry. With a strong bitterness in the late taste and final. Solid.

Bottle at GBBF, August 2005. Rather unappealing sludgy blonde colour. Very and crisp with plenty of peppery spices and light yeasty notes. Fairly dry and crisp. A solid tripel but not in the top rank.
