750mL bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow to light amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with strong notes of grains of paradise and coriander, notes of alcohol, clove, and pepper. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. Clearly and heavily spiced, which I don’t understand...why would you add spices to a tripel? It totally clobbers everything else here, which all but ruins the aroma. That really sucks because it seems like a pretty good beer otherwise. Sad, so sad.

750 ml bottle from Liquid Solutions. Aromas of fruit, yeast, candi and spice. Orange tinged golden color with a huge white head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Seems to be a touch of ginger in the flavor along with bits of citrus things. Very smooth. It’s really rather dry. Very tasty through to the finish.

The body was medium gold with a bright white colored head. The aroma has some pears with cinnamon. There is also an almond hint. The taste has some sweet cake donuts. There is also spicy cinnamon. A decent beer, but fairly boring.

Fruity sweet and boozy aroma. Opaque browned apple colour with generous, dense, off white head that laces. Fruity, strong, boozy flavour with some light spiciness. Medium-light body with airy, collapsing texture in the mouth. Moderately warming. Bottle sampled at GBBF 2005.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with floating yeast chunks softly carbonated dark yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was floral and malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The crisp flavor contained notes of malt sweet mild floral hops and mild candy. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Bottle. Average foamy white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Somewhat cloudy sparkling with a golden color. Lots of particles in flow at the very end. Aroma of coriander, clove, spice, fruit, yeast, citrus. Over the palate came mild dusty feel, light grainy and caramel. Medium to almost full bodied with an average carbonation and quit filling texture for a Tripel, mild alcoholic. Moderated sweet fruity flavor with mild acidic and maybe a hint of bitterness. Sweet and smooth spicy finish. Quit nice Tripel I enjoyed.

(Bottled) Opaque golden color with a smallish head. Hoppy, slightly sour, tasty and fruity aroma. Sweetish, toffeeish, fruity and berryish flavor. Medium-bodied, neutral, low-carbonated palate. A quite pleasant and tasty brew.

Bottle, Bier circus -Brussels: Unclear orange with a white head & good lacings. Medium mouthfeel. Speciel typical De Graal herbal touch in both aroma and taste. Spicy & yeasty also. Very speciel & well made for sure!
