Jun 2, 2006 Bottle. Golden hazy colour with a great head. Very fruity aroma of sweetness, fruit and ginger. Flavour of spices, yeast and ends up very dry and bitter.

May 2, 2008 330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy gold colour with a small white ehad. Sweetish aroma with plenty of coriander and ginger. Flavour had the same oriental spicing, which was over the top and made me think of food. Finish was pleasantly dry. Ok.

Nov 21, 2008 Appearance: Pours a hazy, yellow body with a smallish, white head. Some sediment rolling around in there, too.
Smell: Belgian malts coated in candi sugar, honey, spices, hunks of fruit, and even some flower petals.
Taste: Pale maltiness augmented with a kick of candi sugar sweetness. Fruity tastes of lemons and pears. A tad floral. Spoonful of orange blossom honey. The tiniest pinch of Chinese Five Spice. Mild hop bitterness. Slight yeastiness. I must say the 9% ABV is well hidden. Sweetish, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-high, effervescent carbonation.
Drinkability: My my, that’s not half bad! Reasonably tasty and surprisingly easy to drink down.

Aug 8, 2008 750mL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a clear, golden color with lots of fine particulates; significant off-white head with good retention and creamy lacing. Lots of white pepper, yeast, and yellow fruits in the aroma. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: honey, yellow fruits, and citrus; lively carbonation; basic, peppery, solid tripel. Medium finish: breadiness, toasty malts, and white pepper; spicy and dry.

Nov 1, 2008 750ml. Happy Belgian Tripel. Purity and Innocence of Spirit Shall Reveal the Glory of the Grail. Golden yellow, white fizzy head. Aroma of lemons and tart. Flavor is sweet, yeasty, and bready. Light bodied. Not bad, not the best.

May 6, 2008 Bottle. A cloudy golden yellow color with a large foamy white head. A sweet candy aroma with bubblegum, banana, pepper, and pears that rolls out of the glass. Light on the palate with a sweet finish. The candy spice and lemon flavors come through well. I like it.

Aug 29, 2008 hazy gold under a creamy white head. banana, coriander, sweet creamed corn, and flowers aroma. flavors of delicate banana, yeast, the corn of creaminess, honey, and spices(hint of fresh picked mint leaves). a bit too bubbly, sharp, and carbonated. light bodied. overall its a good one and much better than the dubbel.
