Jul 8, 2005 Darker gold in colour. High carb with a light white head. Big pepper ester aroma with some alcohol notes. Mild malts in the background too. Sweet cane sugar, mild caramel toffee. Fruity mid with a pepper finish. Suprisingly sticky feel. Not bad.

Aug 25, 2008 750mL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Light hazed gold, creamy off white head. Flowery ginger aromas ride light notes of honey bread and lemon. CItric sugar and ginger tones round to a yeasty floral finish. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, sugary spiced finish. Decent stuff, but not really true to style in my mind...

Dec 10, 2004 Firstly, I thought this beer rocked. Poured orange with a medium white head. Big citrus hop aroma. Big hop flavor reminiscent of the west coast. Bitter finish. Excellent.

Aug 9, 2005 Bottle at GBBF 05. Spicy, dry, wheaty aroma. Ditto for the flavour + some sweetness and warmth on the finish. Thick, fizzy mouthfeel. Reasonably good actually, though perhaps too cloying.

Jun 10, 2008 Updated: Sep 29, 2008Pours gold into a snifter. Bright white micro head with good retention leaves sheet lacing as it recedes to skim surface. Lemon, biscuit and candi aromas. Thick biscuit and alcohol from front to back with a lasting yeasty lemon pepper finish.
