The aroma is well-hopped, citrusy fresh, and well-balanced.
The flavor is perfectly balanced between citrus, hops, slight sweetness, solid malt backbone, and long, spicy, warming finish. The alcohol remains hidden. Mouthfeel is impressively full and soft. Eminently drinkable. A superb tripel; one of the very best I´ve tasted. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 15, 2006 Cloudy light amber color; thick head. The aroma is classic for a Tripel, malty and spicy (coriander); and milk chocolate. Same for the taste: good malt and very strong spicy character (coriander), dry. With a strong bitterness in the late taste and final. Solid. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Big citrus hop aroma. Big hop flavor reminiscent of the west coast. Bitter finish. Excellent. Cobra (1061), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 16, 2008 750 ml. brown, champagne bottle. Crowned, but no cork. Best before June, 2009. Poured out a hazy, strawberry blonde color, with a huge frothy white head. Aromas are of corriander, cardamom, ginger, other baking spice, sweet malts, slight whiff of alcohol. Flavors are of spices, slight yeast, sour oranges, lemon peel, sweet malts, some alcohol. Rich mouthfeel, slick and oily. Finished somewhat dry and tangy. Carbonated well, but not too much. Perfect example of the style. Seek it out if you can. maeib (4711), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

The aroma was massive spices, lemons and yeast. The taste had more spices - coriander and pepper. A really good full-bodied tripel. harrisoni (6771), Ashford, Kent, England

Medicinal hop aroma with bugglegumy banana. Good weiss one of my favourites from this festival. Re-rate. Sorry why did I say that this was a weiss? This is an excellent tripel. I’ve enjoyed the 3 de graal beers. they have that something special. This has some tangy tangerine/orange zest with yeast and hops on nose. Syrupy orange zest in mouth before attack of hops. Good beer
