A clear dark golden colored beer, with a thick foamy off white head. The aroma is fruity like citrus with apricot and some malty sweets. The taste is malty sweet with fruits. There is some bitter with spices. The aftertaste is bitter with some spices.

50cl Bottle, ABV 7.5%, bought at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber orange colour, white head after a vigorous pour. Aroma of grain, malts, fruits, strong lager-like. Flavour is sweet, light grainy, candy sugar, light alcohol, very fruity (peach, apricot). Fruity alcoholic finish. Medium to fullbodied, soft creamy mouthfeel.

Bottled fliptop, alc. 7.5 %. BB 04/2009. Clear amber color, small white head. Crystal sugary sweety aroma. Hoppy, alcoholic, a bit fruit sugary. Long harsh and caramelly aftertaste. Certainly tastes like a bock. Kind of watery and uninspiring.

Bottled (thanks jbrus!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, fruits and alcohol along with some strang plastic pipelike notes. Flavour is malts, fruits, diacetyl and some slight notes of alcohol.

(Draught@Arendsnest) Hazy golden with a medium, firm and lacy head. Sweetish, pale-malty, grainy aroma with spicy notes. Sweetish-malty, honeyish, pear-orange-fruity flavor with low bitterness and mild acidity. Hides the alcohol well. Medium body with quite high, but soft carbonation. A typical Dutch tripel (or any other beer style): sweetish and grainy with slight vegetably notes. Drinkable, but dull.

On tap at Arendsnest. Pours hazy with a nice, lacing head. Nice fruity, grassy and spicy aroma. Complex spicy flavours blending with fruit. Semi-dry. A Dutch tripel that impresses.
