| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A: Poured with a small, white head that diminished very quickly to about 1/4-finger size. Body is almost completely clear, with a dark, golden color. Some small particles from the bottle. Not too impressive for a tripel.
S: Good amount of yeast in the aroma, plus some citrus and coriander notes.
T: Yeast and citrus are the main aspects here, with nothing coming through overly strong. Mild sweetness. Alcohol (at 8%) is masked very well... I can’t even detect any warmth at the back of the throat. Average duration.
M: Nice on the palate, with a medium-bodied, creamy texture and soft carbonation.
D: Oh, it’s drinkable... maybe too drinkable for a tripel. In fact, it’s definitely the weakest tripel I’ve had to date. Not a bad beer, but not a good representation of its style. HenrikSoegaard (4342), Randers, Denmark

Clear copper to deep golden beer. Small but creamy white head. The aroma has some spicy yeast while orangey hoppiness is more evdent. Coriander was also used? The flavor is medium malty, somewhat orange estery and slightly honeyish. Some alcoholick boost in the finsih. Not very bitter. Medoim bodied and well rounded. Easy to drink. Some sticky maltiness/hoppiness in the finisih.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Light brown colour. Slightly malty aroma. Very thin, watery texture. An unusual triple as it is very similar in flavour to a regular De Koninck, except for the extra kick of the alcohol. Vertical Bacon Strips (890), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2009 Nice light opaque firey orange beer with a thin off-white creamy cap that had good retention considering the lack of it and lasting effervesence. Lots of aroma in this one with its nice hops and yeasty balanced appealing mild spice. Tasted pretty good with nice mildly spicy hops, a slighty bready taste and some sweet candy in the background. Despite having a tad oily feel (similar to that horrible vomitous dish detergentlike Sunny-D crap) it still comes across quite well. Weak sourness appears under my tongue and its kinda chewy. Very Drinkable. Not sure how many Tripel qualities this has - some - but I enjoyed it none the less. Belial (60), France
