mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 28, 2007 [184-20070107] 330mL. Wheaty aroma, no sweetness. Clear, dark orange red body with a few slow medium-sized bubbles throughout and a medium-lasting foamy white head. Simple wheaty flavour, first astringent then lightly skunky after. Medium body. Booze is too apparent otherwise togetherness would be fine. mike1977ok (633), Netherlands Feb 26, 2007 Dry, bitter, session beer. Good malty flavour and some sweetness on the lips. Easy drinking and inexpensive.
reakt (938), Greater London, England Feb 25, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007Draft from Lowlander? Pale amber colour with a small white head. Light body, BIG intentions. Nose of brown sugar. Molasses, maple syrup and orange in the taste. Very clean, sweet finish. Washes down oh so well. I wasn’t this impressed from the bottle - perhaps draft is the way to go? larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Feb 22, 2007 Small white head; red-brown body. Faint acidic fruity aroma. Lightly acidic fruity taste with light licorice notes. Dryish watery fruit aftertaste. Decent, but no more, for a supposed Belgian. (0.33l bottle.)
