| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Has a clear, dark amber body with little to no carbonation and no head. Its aroma is mainly hops and isn’t bad, but it’s not one that urges you to drink it either. The flavor is in stark contrast to its appearance and aroma. Pretty good balance of hops roasted barley malt with hints of sweet fruit with an inoffensive, bitter aftertaste. Has a dry, easy going finish. Eructoblaster (1480), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Bottle. Limpid amber body with average carbonation and a thin off-white foamy head. Good malty aroma with hoppy, plummy and brown sugar notes. Sharp hoppy taste that carries some oaky hints. Ends with a long bitter aftertaste. Good average Ale. tomthompson89 (1471), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Pours a clear deep golden. The aroma suggests apple notes, a bit tart. The flavor is tart as well, an upfront fruity note of apples and pears. There’s a later toffeeish hint and a light dry finish. Not bad, kind of simple. piscator34 (1121), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Amber in colour with medium carbonation. Vanilla caramel and mild banana aromatics. Flavor wise, the caramel evolves into more burnt toffee territory. Peppery yeast notes appear mid taste and evaporate into a slightly bitter and drying grain husk finish. Way more thin than I would have expected, considering all of the caramel aromas. Even though it’s intended to be a lighter style of Belgian ale, "Light" doesn’t have to mean light on flavor or compexity. This one is a bit too "light" in both regards.
