Very hoppy for a Belgian ale. Nice copper color, good head retention. Tasty but not spectular.

Bottled. Little flavour at first, but has a little more the further down the glass you get, finishing up well. Very average though.[3.0/5]

Reminded me a lot of a clean golden pale ale. I can see why this is an everyday drink in antwerp. Nice and sweep with just enough hop character. Nice.

(bottle) Clear copper colour with a foamy off-white medium head. Toast malty and fruity nutty aroma with yeasts. Smooth malty taste with chestnuts, dry and slightly bitter finish with notes of liquorice. A really nice Ale.

On tap at the ALex P Keaton, in London, Ontario. Mahogony body, thick mocha head remionding me of whipped cream. Aromas are faint, but pleasant. Lots of malt, some bready wafts, molasses, and some off caramel. FLavours struck me as odd for a belgian ale. BItters, and prunes, with some yeasty flavours. The bitterness threw me off, as I wasn’t expecting it in a belgian. Bitter finish, smooth mouthfeel. REminds me more of an ESB than a BA. Good.

Good tawny colour, off white head is tight & compact, lasts well. Nose is dominated by malt, but the palate is much lighter than expected, still nice tho’.The finish is slightly sweet, with a hop/fruit character. 79p Asda.

Bottle: Amber coloured, thin but lasting off-white head; malty and a bit fruity nose (cinnamon ?), light mild malty taste, slightly dry, mild malty finish with a little hoppiness. A very soft, well rounded brew.

Wasnt sure what to expect here. Aroma is malty, just raw maltyness. Taste is nutty like a brown ale almost but seriously malty, i wonder if there is any hops in this fellow, but towards the end u start to feel the minimal hops, not that im looking for them. Seems to me that im drinkin a bock here with ale written on it?
