AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA Apr 15, 2005 Pours crystal clear amber, thin fizz at top. Its got a dry, dusty yeast aroma. Flavor is mild at first and then vanishes completely. Very mild carmel and slightly buttery. No finish whatsoever. Not much going on here to rate. CapFlu (3480), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Apr 9, 2005 (0,33 l bottle) Sampled at Pub Italia, Ottawa. Pours a medium, foamy, white head with an orange-amber body. The nose is mildly grassy malty and eggy. The flavours were much the same with perhaps a brief appearance by weeds. Nothing spectacular here... Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Apr 3, 2005 From a bottle. Amber/orange color. Nothing notable about the aroma. Boring flavor, some hops and yeast to it. Very thin. Fizzy. Boring. Boring. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Mar 29, 2005 had this on draft at a mediteranan joint in antwerp...asked where we could get it with the yeast on the side..nobody knew what the hell i was talking about. for some reason i expected alot more from this beer but got an unexciting drab beer. copper color with a nitro head. mostly slight malty character with some metallic backbone and a sulphur smile. move on mates and drink something else, especially if your in beligum. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Mar 21, 2005 To be honest, I really drank this one colder than it should have been. Aroma was sulphurous. Medium brown beer, not much head, interesting label. Mild ester, medium-lightly bittered. Not very sweet. Light spice. Finishes quickly, leaving a mild banana shadow. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA Mar 18, 2005 Very mild caramel and grass nose. Some grainy notes with a touch of malt. Good head retention with a nice release of gases. Mildly herbal. Soft mouthfeel and a clean finish. A session belgian. NoiZe (1288), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Mar 14, 2005 Updated: Mar 11, 2007A bit on the watery side. Grainy taste. Golden, amber coloured beer. Plain. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 9, 2005 Red amber bdy with a creamy beige head. (3+) Sweet fruity aroma over malt. Flavour is similarly fruity with just enough hoppy bitterness to offset the malt sweetness a bit. Average Palate, lingering fruity aftertaste. Enjoyably quaffable and well rounded but kind of unexciting.
