To be honest, I really drank this one colder than it should have been. Aroma was sulphurous. Medium brown beer, not much head, interesting label. Mild ester, medium-lightly bittered. Not very sweet. Light spice. Finishes quickly, leaving a mild banana shadow.

Very small head on a clear golden amber coloured body. Sweet malty nose. Flavor is sweet fruit and malt with a somewhat bitter but watery aftertaste. Nice ale.

Clear copper body with lots of chunks and a small off-white head. Sweet fruity aroma with some honey and floral hops. Sweet honey, caramel, fruitiness and some light floral hops. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

On tap, Beer Bistro, Toronto. Nice looking dark orange colour. Decent creamy white head. Some subtle soft spiciness in aroma. Mouthfeel is medium to light bodied with a refreshing crispness. Taste is slightly malty, a little yeasty, and has a dry finish. Maybe just a tad watery as well. Nothing really outstanding here, just a well done Belgian Ale that I would drink again.

Pours a clear deep golden. The aroma suggests apple notes, a bit tart. The flavor is tart as well, an upfront fruity note of apples and pears. There’s a later toffeeish hint and a light dry finish. Not bad, kind of simple.

Bottle. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grassy hops and some red fruit. Easy drinking with a malty flavour and a decent dry finish. Good.

[184-20070107] 330mL. Wheaty aroma, no sweetness. Clear, dark orange red body with a few slow medium-sized bubbles throughout and a medium-lasting foamy white head. Simple wheaty flavour, first astringent then lightly skunky after. Medium body. Booze is too apparent otherwise togetherness would be fine.

Good maltiness, sweet and not overpowering. Fruity, pears, cotton candy. Golden amber clear with off-white lacing head. Low carb with med-heavy watery body. Taste is sweet and musky. Alcohol, yeast, malt. Low hops. Fruity. Finish has slight bitter, wheat-like. After is bitter-sweet.
