Full, creamy sweet malt body with honey tones. Lacks a pronounced bitterness, but there is a slight dryness at the end. Commercial, I know, but I liked this. GregClow (2496), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2005 Draught at beerbistro. Orange-amber colour with a small head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma and flavour are both quite sweet and malty, with notes of caramel and spice, and some yeastiness in the background. A bit of well-balanced bitterness in the finish. Not a super-exciting beer, but it’s pleasant and a little different from most. Volgon (2489), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Grass, light fruits and yeast in the aroma. Medium to full bodied, starts a bit sweet and ends sweeter than that. Yeast taste stays around for a while at the end. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 13, 2003 This beer was ok, fairly standard for a Belgian pale ale style. Nice and easy drinking, but nothing to make me feel like I needed another one. I quickly moved on to a duvel that I saw on the menu, you should too. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
