VEry good, after a while it is a normal beer, but at the beginning, it is very sweet and strong, not tiring, but not as crafty as some others. I like it. Yes.

Quite thin, but fine and complex.

0.25 l bottle. Amber color, diminishing head. Fruity, toasty and slightly spicy aroma. Toasty and malty flavor with tart fruitness, caramel, some metallic notes and hint of herbal hops. Light bitterness. De Konicnck is tasty on tap in Antwerpen but this bottle is quite boring.

A bit surprised I hadn’t tried this before. Sampled as part of BJCP certification training. Medium amber with a load of rather nasty looking floaties, both bottles we had. Aroma was malt and surprisingly enough, mint, a bit of bread, and a lot of caramel accents. Flavor is decidedly malty with a touch of alcohol and a bit of muskiness. Some honey also. So-so. Not often that I find the apperance to detract so much, but it was hard to get past the fact that I was having to use my teeth as a strainer.

Dark amber colour with very little head, can't seem too get much aroma from this, didn't like the malt (thought it was sweaty and rhubarb)in this at first but then I got used to it.

Golden amber body with a heavy yeast load, abundant carbonation, and a sudsy, almost effervescent white head. Aroma of tart lemony esters, grain, toasty malt, and cherry notes. Sharp, leathery flavor with more citrusy esters and an unexpected hint of Brett. Semi-dry with substantial bitterness in the finish. A basic, straight-forward Belgian ale. Would probably pair decently with most routine meals.
