Fruity aroma with hints of baking cake. Light amber in color with athin lifeless head. Thin fore followed by some citrus hop notes that meld into more mellow flavors like raisin, bread and mild spice. Still manages to feel light and alcoholic though for all those heavy flavors and low abv.

On tap @ In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Pours a beautiful clear dark amber color. Minor beige head. Aroma is mainly caramel and sweet malts. Nice toffee flavour with hops and some pleasant mild fruits. Very well balanced and easy to drink. I really love this beer. It’s so significant and clean and down to earth. Less is more!

Chalky body with subdued biscuity malt flavors and dull spicy hop accents. Serves as a passable crossover brew, but little else.

caramel and dark fruit aroma. a cloudy red beer with lots of huge chunks of yeast floating around. no head. flavor is very mild with some fruit notes and the same burnt caramel in flavor but pretty much tasteless. slightly watery and a really gross looking beer. way too many chunks floating about just like the cuvee, which i hated. it may have been slightly drinkable if i never saw what it looked like. then you towards the end of the beer all you drink is chunks, like pulpy orange juice......gross. quickly becoming my least favorite brewery

This is very good stuff. Reddish amber color - and typicall Belgian in all respects. Firm malt base, drying hop palate, spicy and yeasty. All very well balanced.
