Jun 5, 2005 Pours a dark reddish/brown sort of color. Aroma is sweet and reminds me a little bit of sangria. Sweet malty flavor. Tastes quite bitter. Some fruit and spice present.

May 17, 2008 11 2 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a thin linen white head that disappeared after the first sip and left no lace. The aroma was sweet with overtones of overripe fruit. Some caramel in the aroma as well. The flavor was caramel up front with some more overripe fruit sweetness. The sweetness then disappears, and the finish is dry and slightly acrid. Thin on the palate at the finish as well. A disappointing offering.

Oct 30, 2006 BA BBF 06. amber in color. Aroma is slightly spicy, and malty. Taste is caramel malts, yeast spices, pretty simple and drinkable beer overall.

Sep 3, 2006 Bottle with Trine on Utrechtsestraat. Quality. One of my favorite beers. Very smooth and rich tasting. Fruity aroma with caramel taste. Divine for such a widely-available brew.

Dark amber with a small head. Aroma modrate malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light body. A fine ale.

Mar 27, 2007 Draft at PP Belgian Beer Fest. Some sour fruitiness on the aromas, but it was mostly malty. Flavor was almost all malt and some alcohol. Very dubble like. Not bad.

Aug 28, 2008 Sampled on draught: Pours a slightly cloudy orange colour with a full white head. Aroma is wheaty, yeast and grass. Mildly grass on the palate, little bit of berry flavor. Pretty average brew overall.
