Jul 13, 2004 Bottle. Nose is very nice with hints of apple and malt. First flavors to come out are straw (very strong), wood, and malt. This beer defines the term "earthy". Finish is very mild and clean. The is one helluva mild Belgian Ale.

Pours amber with fairly low head. Sweet, estery, yeasty, wheaty aroma. Quite watery mouth feel. Sweet, estery & yeasty with some notes of toffee.

Oct 25, 2007 On tap at Milltown, Carrboro. Decent looking brew that has a mildly funky aroma and minimal head. Thin palate, lightly sour, but not much character here.

Clear amber, with a white head.
Aroma malts, some caramel; bit sweet. Medium body.
Taste is like an very regular amberale: some sweet start, cramale malts, little hops.

Apr 11, 2009 Tap at YNWA, Kolding, shared with Roger. Amber color, moderate but fine off-white head. Aroma is fruity. Flavor is fruity, sweet malty with hints of sourness and a bit hops. Nice.

May 15, 2008 Draft. Pours orange with a thin white head. Light fruity aroma. Medium body. Flavor is mostly sweet with fruits, caramel, and cherry. Ends on a very soft bitter note. Not bad.
